Paul is a versatile guitarist and dedicated educator with over 15 years of teaching and performance experience.
Paul holds a Master of Music Studies from the Queensland Conservatorium, specializing in Classical Guitar, and brings a deep understanding of theory, technique, and musical expression to every lesson.
Comfortable across a wide range of styles — including Classical, Flamenco, Metal, Rock, Jazz, and contemporary lead playing — Paul helps students build strong foundations while exploring the music they love. His teaching style strikes a balance between rigour and enjoyment; he believes practice shouldn’t feel like a chore, but something that motivates and inspires each day.
Beyond teaching, Paul has spent over a decade performing in metal bands, touring Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. He is also an active composer of production music for film trailers and television, with placements including Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado, CBS Sports, and the Netflix series Too Hot to Handle. As a solo Classical and Flamenco guitarist, he has performed for weddings, private events, and restaurants in and around Brisbane.
Paul teaches students of all ages and levels, from complete beginner to advanced players, and is passionate about helping each musician develop confidence, creativity, and their own unique voice on the instrument.
