Georgie Taylor is a vibrant and versatile singer, songwriter and musical theatre performer based in Brisbane. With 13 years of vocal tuition, over 5 years of consistent professional performance experience, and a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University; Georgie is a highly qualified and equally passionate musician who is excited to share her knowledge and love of music with her new students.
Georgie is a natural-born creative renowned for crafting rich lyricism and dynamic vocal musicality within her songwriting. She released a seven-track EP “The Deep” in 2019 and has performed at festivals such as Byron Bay Bluesfest, Redfest, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and the Gympie Muster. Her graduating year at university in 2021 saw Georgie create and perform her full-length one-woman-cabaret “Stages of a Crush” at RPAC and grace the iconic Lyric Theatre stage as Frenchy for the QPAC season of GREASE – both to sold-out audiences. Georgie has big aspirations for her future and aims to inspire others to pursue their dreams, musical or otherwise!
Georgie’s lessons foster a fun and supportive environment that nurtures growth, empowerment, and artistry. She teaches singing a range of genres including jazz, pop, rock, classical and musical theatre. She believes in developing strong foundations in vocal health and singing technique for all of her students, whilst championing their unique interests, abilities and goals.
